Airport Contraband FAQ

The questions that do not deserve their own URL, answered in one place and linked back to the page that owns the number.

Multiplayer is the clearest one. Steam lists a single category for how you play: single-player. The current Steam listing does not advertise co-op or multiplayer. A historical 2020 forum reply was mentioned in earlier research, but its exact thread was not retained, so it is not used here as evidence of the studio's future plans.

Length is the publisher's "20+ hours" from the launch announcement. That is a publisher estimate of gameplay, not an independently measured completion time. The prologue, separately, is described as open-ended and has no hour count. Price, platforms, and the October date each have their own page: price, platforms, release date.

The show people mix in is Discovery's documentary Contraband: Seized at the Airport, about DHS work at US airports, with a second season. It is television. It is not the plot of the game, and I am not summarizing episodes here. A generated-AI disclosure is another blank: the store page and the store record I read had no AI-use section. I will not convert that silence into "the game uses AI" or "the game refuses AI."

Questions people ask

Is there co-op?

The current Steam listing advertises single-player and has no co-op or multiplayer category, checked 30 Oct 2026. Future plans were not verified.

How long is it?

The launch announcement says 20+ hours. The prologue has no published runtime.

Is it Early Access?

No. The 28 Oct 2026 release is a full release listing, without an Early Access tag. An exact executable version number was not verified.

Does it use generative AI?

I could not find an AI disclosure on the Steam page. That is not proof either way.

Is there an Airport Contraband TV show?

Discovery's documentary is titled Contraband: Seized at the Airport. It is not this game.

Are the in-game banned items the real TSA list?

No. The game sorts goods into legal, restricted, and contraband, and the Great Leader can change the list. For a real flight, use the airport's own rules.

Is there Chinese text?

The paid store page lists Simplified and Traditional Chinese for interface and subtitles. Full audio is English only.

What is the age rating?

The store page shows USK 16, IGRS 18, and DEJUS 12.
