Upgrades and perks

Two tracks: money you spend during a life, and points you spend after that life ends.

The 6 Mar 2026 devlog separates the tracks. During a run you spend cartel-task cash on perks. The examples named there are Chill Search (more room for error on a body search), Swift Hands (fewer required hits), and Shallow Pockets (the body-search minigame comes up less often). After the officer dies or is fired, Dream Workers Company takes Dream Points, counted from the days that run survived, and sells permanent Dream Perks: airport health, an extra equipment slot, higher reputation payouts. Handyman is the vendor for tool upgrades. The 7 May 2026 devlog says the basic tools are slow and weak and that Handyman sells specialized versions. The store screenshot of that menu is readable. I will list only the five labels I can see, and I will describe an effect only where the picture itself explains it.

Executive Priority is confirmed in DRAGO's 16 Oct 2026 post, alongside Turbo Crane. Earlier research missed that sentence. Both effects are single-source developer descriptions, not measured performance claims. Tier points, from clean inspections, are the third ladder: the March devlog and the HUD both treat tier as the key to new stations. Prices and a tier cap are not published. The July devlog calls the permanent currency Dream Points; the October launch press release calls it Dream Coins. Those public names differ, and this guide does not assume they are interchangeable.
